No food should ever be brought into the chapel. Water is allowable only for those with health problems. Medical needs aside, it is improper to be drinking water in the chapel. Food is allowable in the front room for children only.
 

A dress is always appropriate for women. And suits/blazers & ties for men are most appropriate when possible. Attire proper to one’s gender is appropriate. Mens’ attire should be manly, while womens’ attire should be feminine and modest. Street clothes are never appropriate. The only time that ordinary clothes are appropriate is during the week when people are going to work. And uniforms can be worn for the same reason. As you have heard it here, always wear your Sunday best, even on weekdays.
 

Never touch anything in the sanctuary area, including statues, or any vessels (things) used in liturgy.
 

Silence is always the hallmark of a Catholic church or chapel. It is what distinguishes our churches from others.
 

All Catholics are bound by the laws of liturgy and sacred custom to genuflect when passing the mensa (center) of the altar. Those less able-bodied are, nevertheless, bound to make proper gesture of reverence as fitting their ability.
 

Try to come early for Rosary & do not leave before Mass is over. And remember that a thanksgiving after Mass is always rewarded with abundant graces.
